The Abreu de Lacerda family is a success case of family-led small farming and it’s importance in the specialty coffee scene in Brasil.

Sitio Forquilha do Rio is located in the township of Pedra Menina, state of Espírito Santo, right on the border with Minas Gerais. In this producing área, called Caparaó, some farms have their coffee crops in the in both states.
Joint efforts, practice and knowledge led the Abreu de Lacerda family to explore experimental coffee processing, and most important, mastering them.
